and then there is the utterly disgusting Kennedy style. There is Wang, Akom, Startoons, Freelance. I had no problem with the animation in Tiny Toon Adventures however it tends to be rather obvious whenever two different animation houses work on episodes. Still, the animation is worth discussion. This doesn't seem like a fair fight as both shows were made by the same studio and one clearly came after the other. There is no real structure from Animaniacs, but they are less likely to fall into cliches. While Tiny Toons would take a cue from modern civilization and often put a Looney Tunes-esque spin on it, Animaniacs was not limited to just one setting and would go and be less predictable in nature. Tiny Toon Adventures was a cartoon inspired by the classic Looney Tunes while also putting a twist on the idea behind Jim Henson's Muppet Babies while Animaniacs took its cues from the classics while also adopting a similar form of patented anarchy that fueled the best. This is an easy point for Tiny Toons, who have a degree of structure.īoth of these series look toward the Golden Age of Animation for inspiration and they do an amazing job with it.
